Save a lot of time creating mocked JSONS to test your apps
You can create your classes or interfaces in any code language based on a JSON
Or you can just ask for certaing mock data in a JSON
The data its interpreted and giving accurated results using AI!
hi! i'm MisterD. this is my first project on productHunt so i'm sure i'm making a lot of mistakes! i created mockthis because i realized that i was using GPT many times during the week to ask it to mock data or convert it. so i said... why don't i create a little app that allows me to do it more comfortable without having to copy or write a prompt every time i want to use it. and when i realized that it worked very well (although a bit slow sometimes) i realized that more people could use it! so i decided to polish it and publish it. i'm also working on other side projects so it seemed a good idea to start getting familiar with the platform and the publishing flow... so i'll keep an eye on the comments to try to improve it as much as possible!
If you find any of this interesting my website is under construction but you can subscribe to a newsletter in which I plan to send you when I publish my new projects (there are many things with AI and a mobile game about the meaning of words in progress!)
you can visit it at https://misterd.dev/
or you can follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/MisterDonnuts/ (I'm new on twitter, bear with me)
I hope you find MockThis as useful as I do, and I will read your comments carefully! thank you very much for your support!
Thanks @critic_rwps ! yes! that's the idea, it's great for when you want to create a frontend and you don't have the endpoints set up yet and you want to focus on the design or if you already have the answers to speed up the creation of interfaces!
@misterd On the backend, when you need to test that the function produces a correct calculation for all edge cases. You can generate a lot of data and supply it to the function to test it. Also, for this scenario, maybe it can be used as an IDE plugin. Just brainstorming here, don't have the exact idea of how it should look like.
@critic_rwps Yes! totally agree with that, you can write several data for testing! and include it in a IDE Plugin will be awesome! or maybe we can add a new tab to generate test cases for the given function 🤔
Hi everyone! thank you so much for your votes this was more successful than I thought it would be!
a little note, in the excitement of finishing everything I copied the url of my site wrong which is https://misterd.dev sorry for that!
