The NBA launches a video highlights bot on Messenger. Interesting that they ask whether to send you updates (proactive mode) or to stay in reactive mode (only speak when spoken to).

@chrismessina yeah the proactive notifications prompt was an interesting move. NBA bot has that call to action after every player highlight video. It'd be great if there was a complete opt-out or a rule that opted me out if I've rejected notifications 3 times.

Its actually really cool. Its nice to see chat bots evolve from something that originally tried to have conversations with you as if it were human (not realistic) to a tool that can provide information quickly and simplistically.

It would be better if I could see the video inline in Messenger... and if I could add the @NBA bot to a group conversation.
