Mixmax is one of my favorite products. It's got so much functionality in such a little package and seamlessly integrates with Gmail. Now, they are launching robust calendaring functionality so you can schedule meetings much easier. Check it out, it's free!

@hnshah no need for Calendly any more! Mixmax rocks.

@mlitman w00t!

@mlitman @hnshah but what does this do better than Calendly?
michael litman
@iansmith it was said better than I can below >>> I use both Streak ($39 on the corporate plan) and Calendly ($8 for standard), but this seems to replace both and have even more functionality @ $29 month to month. Seems like a no brainer.

I feel like I am late to the MinMax party. I love how I can schedule my follow ups within the app. And I can automate my follow-up sequence. The calendar app is incredible. Super Dope!🚬🚬🚬

@dredurr ✔︎✔︎✔︎ (& more to come). Welcome to the Mixmax party 🎉

I really like this. Totally fills the void left by Sunrise, and actually, more pleasantly. Good on you lads.

I using Mixmax every day, really love this product! Happy to see this amazing new feature! Congrats @olofster and team 🚀

@tombenattar more to come 😉

Hi @olofster any chance you will bring multi region / time zone support to mixmax any time soon? Most of my meetings are with people in other time zones but they don't know what AEST is so meetings have been missed!
Olof Mathé
Thank @hnshah - Excited to share the latest addition to our Mixmax communications suite - Mixmax Calendar. Today, we spend too much time scheduling. Our new calendar lets you book meetings faster by sharing your custom link where prospects can choose the best time for them. The link is is perfect to put in your signature or share on social media! Here are some benefits customers will love: * Complete control - easily customize your availability times, days, duration, and more * Smart settings - prevent conflicts and confusion, with double-booking protection and timezone detection * Scheduling anywhere - mobile-friendly design allows users book meetings on any device, anywhere. * Salesforce sync - all meetings sync directly to your favorite CRM * Powerful automation (coming soon!)- integrate with Mixmax Sequences for automated reminders, follow-ups and more

@olofster couple suggestions after a quick test: 1) allow default /availability to be different than the total availability. I'm available nights and weekends, but don't want those to be the default. They can go to my full calendar to pick those slots, though. 2) on the cancel/reschedule page, add a link to http://cal.mixmax.com/user (or make that an optional setting). Other than that, looks good so far!
Olof Mathé
@marcrowen Ohhh nice, great suggestion and coming soon to your cal.mixmax.com:)

I've been using Mixmax everyday for 3 different accounts and would never turn back. Love this new feature!

I have been using mixmax for over a year for our team and we love it. Especially how fast they move and develop. My ONLY frustration is how much branding they have for even the professional plan. I feel for for $30 / month you should atleast be given some branding options

I love using mixmax, extremely excited for the calendar tool! Mixmax is onto something, the tools are easy to use and affordable!

It would be great if we could add different meeting slots like 15min / 30 min etc. Also a buffer before/after would be awesome! By the way, I love it since I meet you on APPSUMO. :D

Great product that could easily replace 3 I use but... a) found and submitted 3 bugs (no response). b) still waiting on a solution for basic calendar issues following contact with support. c) just ran across another 'stopper', need to upgrade to premium level to adjust sequences for a single recipient. etc... Doesn't look or feel like a finished product yet but is expecting (rightfully) a 30$ p/m subscription. Hmmm,

@olofster I LOVE this product. Just gets better and better each week. I had already decided to not renew Calendy last week, so this was an Easter Egg in my basket. 🐇🥚

Easily THE best thing to happen to email since Gmail. Makes everything from meeting scheduling to adding attachments a joy.

SO EXCITED about the new public calendar feature. This is great for certain types of meeting scheduling, especially when you're sending to a partner or vendor who is trying to coordinate availability with a large group. One thing that would be helpful is to allow us to restrict the calendar's availability just a little bit more. If I give out a public link to my schedule availability, I don't want anyone to be able to schedule a meeting anytime during business hours willy nilly :-). I need to have a wee bit more control over my workflow and scheduling. I want to be able to declare specific meeting "slots" that would be available automatically rather than opening a whole day (or only having 1 set of hours available per day). For example of how this looks in action, I'd like my MixMax public calendar link to show the following timeframes as available: M - Th: 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm. F: 9am-12pm, 1-2pm I always want to ensure that lunch is blocked off, so regardless I need to be able to restrict my time to at least 2 "windows" per day. The way it's set up now, I can only declare 1 timeframe per day as available. I also don't want to block these off on my own calendar because that would fill my cal with junk and be way too confusing :-) Maybe this is already on the docket, but I figured it couldn't hurt to share the idea in case it helps.

Great integration with Google Inbox! I just found one issue when using Ghostery but adding the url to my trusted sites solves the problem.
Michael Joseph
Haven't played with this yet but can you explain what difference is between Mixmax and Calendly?
Danielle T Hurley
@michaelcjoseph And between Mixmax and doodle.com? : )
Frank Denbow
@michaelcjoseph calendly is an (awesome) app for schedulng. Mixmax has scheduling as part of a suite of email services from email tracking / sequences / etc. I use mixmax daily, it just works
Olof Mathé
@michaelcjoseph Ahoy - Mixmax is fundamentally unique. We're a full communications platform that makes your team unstoppable. We put your outreach our autopilot, providing analytics/tracking on all your messages, we make sure your followups are impeccable and we let you schedule in an instant, not just via the calendar link (similar to Calendly, ScheduleOnce, Youcanbookme etc.) but also via embedding available times directly in the message, just to mention a few examples. As far as just the calendar link goes it's unique in that it can be hooked up to other automation: automated followups, reminders etc. hope that provides some pointers! cc @d_hrly @michaelcjoseph @thesiskar 👋
Olof Mathé
@d_hrly @michaelcjoseph ha we solve the group scheduling use case too - just type `/group` and then enter in a Mixmax message window:) see also below.

I have been a champion of MixMax since discovering it last year! My only request in reference to the calendar: I have some recurring events on my calendar that are meant to remind me rather than block time off specifically. I wish we could choose to ignore these blocks of time if they are set as 'available' and not 'busy' in the google calendar event settings, so that we can still use the 'prevent double bookings' still too, but not worry about those blocks where I actually am 'available'. Any thoughts @olofster?

I lost my ability to use MixMax when my employer shut off 3rd party integrations and it makes me sad every day :(
Marc Rowen
Nice one. Interested to see if this will replace Calendly (which will be tough). It would be great if it integrated with Drip.
Olof Mathé
@marcrowen Hi Marc, yup with this we hope we cover all your calendaring needs from sharing a calendar link to directly embedding available times in email so prospects can confirm times directly w/o context switching. The cal.mixmax.com links are great to embed in our Sequences https://mixmax.com/sequences and will become much closer integrated soon. Let us know what you think and how we can improve!
