We're excited about bucking the trend here and sharing small, useful, uncomplicated tools. In building one of those big heavy tools, we really wanted something simple based on that core technology so we built SnapIt. It's really just about creating something that doesn't require account creation or an install, and ultimately doesn't get in the way of just communicating visually with other people. Sure, you can install one of the big screen share tools along with account setup process, installation of an extension or app on your computer and then fire that up each time. And you should probably do that if you're capturing your screen all day, every day. But if you just want to grab a quick capture or send it to your grandpa to grab something quick, use SnapIt.
