Downloading it took forever, but it was worth it. I'm particularly in a need of Numbers alternative. While Excel 2016 for Mac has slower initial load time, it was able to open a CSV file with 240,000 rows while Numbers was cutting it to around 24,000 rows. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with Microsoft this time.
Long overdue. Looks amazing! The whole interface has been finally updated for the retina displays. I was a fan of the default Cambria font though - looks like they've changed that.
Great UI update, but shortcuts are still incredibly broken. Just don't understand how Windows shortcuts can be so intuitive and MSFT chooses to do something completely different for Mac
Wow.. its about time! Better late than never. Considering the recent positive moves my MSFT, this could win a few google docs/mac devotees back to MSFT.
Still downloading (the cables seem to be glowing ;)).
Did someone take a look at the privacy agreements? Is it the same as with the Windows 10 public betas that practically your every mouse-move and keystroke can and will be captured?
Yeah - XLS on the Mac that is as good as it is on Windows. I ❤️ Excel, so it is great to be able to use a fully functioning client version, even if it is a Preview. :-)
