Hi everybody!
We are super-excited to share with you early access to Mately! Everyone who sign ups in the next 7 days will get FOREVER unlimited use for free. Looking forward for your feedback!
Mately is a simple SaaS tool that helps individuals and small teams manage their contacts.
Our mission is to offer teams the ability to leverage their biggest asset - their contacts - with a simple and easy-to-use app. Our goal is to become the reference solution both for people who need personal CRM and for teams that need to work with many contacts (startups, investors, HR/recruiters, salespeople, PR/marketing/event managers, etc.).
Current CRMs are too bulky, difficult to customize, and mostly inflexible. They are designed specifically for salespeople, and it is very difficult for teams that also work with external contacts to adapt and use them. Also, there is another niche - personal contact management, where there is a huge gap between ordinary Contacts apps and rigid sales CRMs. Thus, individuals and small teams have to adapt and use spreadsheets (like MS Excel or Google Sheets), project management tools (like Notion) or try to customize complicated XRMs (like Airtable or Monday). That's why we're building Mately, a simple and flexible tool to make it easy for any team to manage contacts according to their own workflows.
It is our first iteration on the product and we are going to make it much much better. So we’re really excited to hear your thoughts and ideas.
Main features:
- Store and manage all your contacts in one place. Sync new contacts and interactions from all your tools.
- Put your contacts into action: add reminders and notes, track all interactions, customize fields, add tags and groups.
- Create collaborative workspaces to centralize all your team's relationships
- Use our web and iOS apps
Hey - interesting idea - I have wondered why CMS aren't simply watching my gmail and prompting taking notes while on or immediately after the call as reflection. We currently use notion to do this. It isn't a hair on fire problem though for us.
A little feedback: I read your landing page, loved the vibe, clicked in the navbar to desktop and couldn't workout how to get the app - maybe add a little button there to launch what you have at the top of the site (i didn't notice it until I refreshed the page)
On trying your app, it seems more like a todo list app and it has got contacts from gmail, but these aren't what I wanted. I wanted the people I have had meetings with and emailed recently.
In the end I am loving the vibe but not feeling you are doing what you said! Happy to explain more if useful :)
This is awesome! Definitely agreed that there isn't a good tool out there for managing contacts internally and that folks are forced to use tools that simply are designed for this.
