Hey Product Hunters, Thank you for checking out my new startup. 🤔 The problem Well, I think the majority of marketing writing is quite un-actionable. You read it, and it might sound good, but when you get out in the real world you really have no idea how actually implement it. 🛠My solution So the goal of Marketing Examples is to get as close to the "real world" as possible. The site is a collection of marketing tactics used by successful startups and the idea is that you can copy the techniques step-by-step. Every example is summarised into a thread on Twitter, so perhaps check that out. Anyway, that's all folks. Any questions please do comment or tweet me @harrydry 🙏

@harrydry This is such a useful resource. There are very few websites where I can say that I have read every. single. article. You're such a talented story teller and these are super actionable. Thanks for putting it together!

@anthilemoon favourite comment of the day - thank you 🙏
Pete
Invaluable modern marketing lessons - the only marketing newsletter I subscribe to actually. Harry covers everything from self-promo on Reddit to adding shareable Twitter threads to your website. In fact, I made a 'Harry thread' on Twitter when I interviewed Harry myself for www.nocsdegree.com . You can check it out here: https://twitter.com/noCSdegree/s...

@petecodes Thanks a lot Pete. Very flattering comment. Good luck with No CS Degree. It's a cool project :)
Pete
@harrydry I also interviewed Harry about how he learned to code without a Computer Science degree: https://www.nocsdegree.com/inter...
Armie
Great, succinct newsletter with very unique and interesting examples! Follow the twitter account if emails isn’t your thing.
Harry Dry
@hikikomori_arm very lovely comment. appreciate that!
Jonny Cosgrove
Harry, you are an endless fountain of good content. Pros: Excellent content that has been consistently way above par so far Cons: Need to unsub from a few now completely replaced newsletters/blog :) Ace work, keep it up!
Harry Dry
@jonny_cosgrove Hahaha! One of my favourite comments so far, seriously flattering. It's only going to get better. Thank you Jonny! https://leavemealone.app/ by @jamesivings + @dinkydani21 is a pretty good way to unsubscribe :)
Luca
Articles written to teach you something, not the usual 5k words of fluff to game SEO. Recommended.
Harry Dry
@luqa Thanks you Luca. And yeah, exactly the point!
Giles Gunning
This isn’t just a rehash of marketing stories heard a hundred times over by those who are in the start up world. The examples are unique and written super succinctly - this is good stuff.
Harry Dry
@giles_gunning Love it. Thank you big dog :)
Aleksandar Pesic
Readable and insightful! Can't wait for more examples.
Harry Dry
@alexander_pesic Thanks Aleksander! More examples are coming up. Two a week. Only premium quality will do :)
Jonny Burch
Short, well written and interesting posts – a great dose of regular inspiration for a non-marketer who needs to learn! A++ will read (repeatedly) again.
Harry Dry
@jonnyburch Awesome Feedback Jonny. Thank you!
Francesco Di Lorenzo
Loving what Harry has been doing. Have been reading his work from day one, it has been a great source of inspiration for https://unread.it/
Harry Dry
@frankdilo Thank you Francesco. Much appreciated :) I enjoyed looking through your site the other day.

Real world marketing examples without unnecessary fluff. Most of them are good, some are great & few are exceptional. For most content marketing sites, as time passes, the quality decreases but even after so many examples, the quality is exceptionally high. Learning something new everyday. Keep up the good work Harry 👏
Anurag
This is one of those product which actually works the first time you read the articles. The creator (@harrydry ) has described the problem really well. This product works on actionable insights. Already Hooked.

I love how you mention that the vision is to become Dribbble, but for marketers! Are you planning on letting other people upload & showcase marketing ideas through an account? We would love to participate
Harry Dry
@timur_mamedov_ Haha! Timur from VEED! Thanks for the support man. Been meaning to come the office and meet IRL. Yeah, I think that's an idea I've certainly thought about. One of the challenges is keeping the quality above a certain threshold. This was also raised by Kevin Hale on Startup School. Definately something i need to figure out.
Davis Baer
These are great Harry! Keep up the good work :)
Harry Dry
@daviswbaer Cheers Davis! I keep seeing your face everywhere for some reason. Definitely been up to something recently!
Shivbhadrasinh Gohil
One of the best Newsletter Subscription for the Marketing World. Highly Recommended.
Harry Dry
@shivbhadrasinhgohil High praise indeed. But thank you very much Shivbhadrasinh!
Mike Carbone
As others are saying the content is great! I echo the other praises. Only gripe I have @harrydry is how the posts load in a popup modal. I find it pretty difficult to read posts because of this. If you don't feel like changing too much, I found changing the width value of .post from "80em" to "80%" helps a lot (then maybe add a min-width value). In addition, changing the .outerPost background value to "rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.6)" improved it a lot as well. You'll find it's a more standardized look to contentful modals, very similar to the one used right here on ProductHunt! Of course, this is all unsolicited advice and you can feel free to ignore it! Although I suggest giving it a try and deciding whether you like it or not ;-) Again, props on the creation and I wish you luck 🙂
Harry Dry
@mike_carbone Hahah! Not at all, thank you for taking the time to actually offer an alternative. I'm going to experiment with your css values tomorrow morning! Looking forward to seeing what it's going to look like. From what you're saying it should be an improvement. It's so much more helpful actually offering an alternative (as opposed to simply complaining about the status quo) so thank you 🙏
Musharof Chowdhury

Harry Dry
@musharofchy Thank you Musharof. Lovely praise
