I tend to forget to take breaks in front of the computer. Hours goes by and at the end of the day my eyes and my head hurt. AFK helps me taking short breaks, at least for my eyes, to avoid this.
On a sidenote I loved the fact that the whole development was tweeted as a thread!
I'm part of people who think breaks are important to keep being effective.
