Been part of the Kitchen for a week now. And I have to say, this community is amazing. Everyone here is super supportive and helpful 👌 Never been so easy to get feedback and ideas 😍 It's great feeling to work together. The channels in the chat are organized very well and it makes easier to communicate effectively 😻 Apart from public chat, you also get to interact with everyone privately. If you're a solo maker, you should definitely join the Maker's Kitchen 🍳

Hey ProductHunt! Maker’s Kitchen is a Free Slack Community where makers from different disciplines come together to help each other build, launch and maintain products. We think that Maker communities need to be free and open instead of making money for ‘access’. Our makers have been shipping products for the last 2 weeks since we launched on beta and I am excited to invite you all to come join the slack group and build out in the open with endless support 😃👋

@keyul Already on it 😃 We are allowing ShipFast users to connect to their Slack Maker's Kitchen account so that their projects can be featured on the MK home page if needed or to auto-announce on the slack channel when you ship something 🔥

I've had lots of fun chatting with everyone in Maker's Kitchen, and also got some really good advice and support. It's also fun helping other people out! So yeah, just join. Really, it's awesome.

Pros:

Really nice people doing amazing things who are very helpful and also fun to hang around with. I'm a fan of the custom emoji selections 👌

Cons:

Nothing other than Slack's RAM usage 😝 (use the web app not the Mac app)
