👋 Hey Product Hunt! We're excited to introduce Magic Patterns, the AI design tool for product teams.
Here's a bit of background:
📅 In 2023, we launched a similar product called "Design Patterns" on Product Hunt. It was a collection of components that promised to "help you find the perfect component." It hit Product of the Day, and we knew there was something here.
👨💻 We saw how good the new AI models were and we knew this was the perfect application for it. So we built the first version of Magic Patterns that helped you generate a basic component from a prompt.
👥 From all the amazing feedback we've gotten from the community and our customers, we've iterated. A lot. You can now do much more than just generate basic components with Magic Patterns.
Here are some of my favorite things you can do with Magic Patterns:
Easily revert and switch between versions to explore different variants and ideas
And this is all just the tip of the iceberg. We have so much more planned, but we'd love to hear what you think! What do you want to see next from Magic Patterns?
p.s. use the code "PH10" for 10% off our Hobby plan!
@teddyni This is so much worth a try for me & my team. As a founder of uxarmy.com I do struggle to rapidly communicate my product ideas to designers & developers. Gonna take this for a spin. Congrats & you folks are in for some solid feedback :)
Excited to be sharing Magic Patterns with the Product Hunt community. We've gotten awesome feedback from our customers ranging from startups to enterprises, but we'd love to hear from you!
Some things we've heard recently from our users:
"Great product and very response founder and team for enhancements. Core part of my teams workflow."
"Magic Patterns is probably the best UI/UX generator that exist today. Such a delightful experience."
"I tried every generative design tool on the market. Magic Patterns is the best and keeps getting better."
We are HUGE Magic Patterns users over here -- incredible product and 1000/10 recommend you use this!!!!
Magic Patterns = AI Product Designer
If you are an early-stage founder without a full-time product designer, this will be your go-to tool to quickly design custom and comprehensive dashboards and frames in minutes. You can then take the designs and quickly build the product -- no more wasting hundreds of hours to build things manually in Figma before a dev gets to it.
If you are a mid to later stage founder Magic Patterns allows you to quickly prototype new products and features without bothering your product designers who might be busy on other sprints. These quick prototypes allow me to align with customers and my team on my vision for the future!
@kirtishenoy Thanks so much for the kind words, Kirti! Been so much fun working with you and the Zeal team. Excited to continue supporting your use case!
I use Svelte/kit, but you only generate React code. If you have any suggestion for getting a code for Svelte, I'd really appreciate it. In one of your screenshots, you have "HTML" as your Code Framework, but I couldn't find that in your website. My only options are "React / Shadcn / Chakra UI / Mantine". Is there a way to get HTML code? Or anything else I could use for Svelte?
@akiarostami Hi, good eye. We actually renamed HTML -> React. It was always React, it was actually never HTML.
We find a lot of users will click Export > Copy Code as Prompt > and then ask Cursor or ChatGPT to convert the Magic Patterns React output to Svelte or whatever they want.
Congrats on the launch! As a non-designer, Magic Patterns has become my favorite way to flesh out ideas by building fully function, interactive prototypes. The feedback loop is so fast, and the experience engaging and fun. Kudos for your great customer service also!
It’s really the best way I’ve seen so far to bring the power of AI prototyping to non coders, and with the features to be used by real teams.
Long time fan of Magic Patters. Rooting for your success!
Congrats Magic Patterns team! Just started using the product this month and legit have been blown away. Can't think of a better tool for founders to prototype for early customer discovery. I've been mainly using it for higher fidelity versions of "back of the napkin" ideas to get in front of my co-founders / customers and feel like the quality of the discussions are waaaaay better.
@kent_mori Hey Kent, we love that! I actually no longer write PRDs at all and communicate solely with Magic Patterns. As I like to say, "a prototype is worth 1000 words"!
Magic Patterns has totally changed the way we think about design, even beyond the solid use case of prototyping our frontend components.
When the results are as fast and high quality as what you get out out Magic Patterns, more and more can just be done with Typescript/React. Small one pagers we send to our customers, design assets for powerpoint presentations, product update emails.
Cannot recommend this product enough. Congrats on the launch guys!
@lenny_rachitsky Thanks Lenny, means a lot coming from you — a lot of learnings from your newsletter that helped shape the product the way it is today!
I almost don’t want people to know about Magic Patterns because it’ll diminish my alpha.
I used to have a costly time developing product because good UX is hard. No longer an issue whatsoever. I just share product context and user story context and get a great UX out of Magic Patterns in a few minutes of back and forth, and I can go straight to shipping. It’s so good

Hey Product Hunt, we've been working hard behind the scenes to make Magic Patterns the best vibe-designing tool it can be.
Some new features we've released thanks to your awesome feedback:
- Commands: Default prompts that make prompting straightforward. For example, try prompting /Inspiration.
- Components: Create and build with re-usable components from your design system
- Permissions: Easily share designs with your teammates and carefully control who has access
What do you want to see next from Magic Patterns? We're growing very fast!!!
@alexdanilowicz Support for other platforms beside React (Svelte, to be specific, or pure JS)
@alexdanilowicz Congrats on the launch! Love the focus on reusability and team collaboration—Magic Patterns looks super helpful for scaling design.
@alexdanilowicz Congrats on the lauch, must be fun and wired to grow very fast. Any plans to grow your infrastructure in Asia?
We want to promote your product in our community but our traffic might crash your system.
