@kosovan I've been a cleanmymac user for a while but the latest update in macOS Sequia 15.0.1 looks buggy and slow. Menu bar Dashboard isnt working well, applications window takes forever to load. Hope we get the fix soon.

I need to dust off my old MacBook and try running them.
Congrats on the launch! 🚀 The UI reminds me a lot of the VisionOS style, works nicely with the colourful backgrounds too. For the cleanup features, currently I'm pretty happy with DaisyDisk and how it lets me visually see what areas of the drive are taking up the most spaces, and drill down into the detail.
Does this do anything similar? Or is it just top level insights suggestions + a list of files?
@jonnymiles Thank you! We’re really glad you like the UI. Making cleaning and decluttering feel pleasant and effortless was a big focus for us.
Regarding disk space visualizations, in the previous version, CleanMyMac X, we had a module called Space Lens for visualizing and managing storage. We’re currently reimagining the Space Lens features to find their place in the new CleanMyMac and to make managing storage even more intuitive in future updates. Stay tuned!

I’m Andrii, the engineering manager at CleanMyMac by MacPaw.
This release is truly significant in the product's history. Enormous work has been done in design and usability (huge respects to MacPaw's designers and UI/UX specialists who worked on numerous concepts and solutions).
But no less significant was the contribution of engineers who essentially rewrote the product from scratch. They optimized the performance of already well-established modules and introduced new technical solutions and modules.
Working on a product used by millions of users worldwide is truly a responsibility.
Our users value what we have, and experimenting needs to be done with caution 🙏

May sound vane, but a little utility to lock controls would also allow for easier "physical" cleaning, which is always a pain heh
Oh my! Every time you release CleanMyMac, I ask myself: why don't you create the same for Windows? Because I do not want software from other vendors (sorry), MacPaw does it so right. Keep on going, guys!

I encourage you to look over the CleanMyMac Menu app functionality. Regarding hardware it includes live monitoring of disk, memory, cpu and battery. Just click on each monitor and you'll see the detailed view.
For each mentioned hardware component we provide the relevant info like health, temperature, load and the list of processes that consume the most of hardware resources.
So the short answers is yes, detailed insights are present. Of course, even more detailed information about hardware exists that could be monitored. We are focusing mostly on metrics users will be clear what to do with them.
This app sets the trend for digital minimalism. Love the "tidier" new look.
