@rrhoover Thanks for the comment Ryan! Can appreciate new workflows can be harder to adopt, but we're hopeful that for teams already using Slack every day this can fit right into their workflow there. Meaning they don't need to step out of it to do something that should be as simple as requesting new leave.
We found that although requesting leave wasn't a painful process, managing that leave (days remaining, view leave for the whole team etc..) was something that proved to be tricky and needed a spreadsheet or external tool for.
We’re open to suggestions for how we can improve and appreciate your feedback!
@de We've tried leevebot for a while, but other coworkers didn't really enjoyed it. "Too complicated", or always need to use "help" to remember how to use the bot were the main reasons. Also a huge plus would be integration with Google Calendar - well, at least in our case we had to manually add holidays to the team calendar after using leevebot so it was a bit annoying :D
@gvrnsky Hey Hubert, thanks for the feedback. Sorry that your co-workers found the app complicated and needed to continuously use the help function. In your opinion how do you feel this could be improved? We've aimed to keep the commands simple and easy to remember, but we're open to new ideas :) Also Google Calendar integration is very much on our roadmap and if more teams request the functionality then we will bump it up the list of priorities. Thanks again!
@de No worries :) Not sure how it could be improved, maybe in a bit more visual way? Instead of giving plain text reply, generate png with donut chart or a table showing booked/available holidays? Also from what I remember, another problem our HR peeps had was lack of option to export booked holidays to a spreadsheet, and some of the commands didn't worked at all (not sure if it's real issue, or fault on their side).

Our pricing structure is simple; we charge £1, per user, per month (that's about $1.34USD), regardless of team size. As your team increases or decreases in size, your subscription will adapt too.
