Wow I was waiting for such service for a long time. I absolutely need it. But how accurate does it calculate the cost? What is a possible margin of error? Thanks
@anna_larsen thanks for asking! These are approximate estimates, based on the platform, features chosen & average dev rates in Ukraine. Surely, there always be some external & unpredictable factors, additional features etc which may influence the time & costs needed to build an app. Still, we tried to make our calculator as useful & accurate as it may be, so we also added the range of costs – optimistic & pessimistic price ;)
The idea for this application is laudable but the implementation is not ready for prime time. Much of these modules can be found as open-source or dead simple services provided by Google or Facebook or Twitter. Time estimates for these things are very high and costs are not a so-called ballpark. I've compared a sample estimate to various Fiverr contractors that I've used in the past. In blind tests, where they didn't know about this app, modules were anywhere from 20 to 49 percent lower than this app. This app has a lot of work to do in order to make it viable as a business or useful tool.
Cool project! Will help people get an idea of the cost of development for an app. I'm planning to run an app for my digital marketplace masterbundles.com. After estimation, I understood what features are most expensive. It is a cool tool for cost optimization too
Makes me realize the value of no-code! Did an estimate of my app and it’s clocking 2000+ hours. We did it in wayyyyyy less
Great idea. It's easy to use but I would add some explanation of why should I need that feature/ explain what it is as some people might not understand it . Congrats and good luck
