Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Ignacio Salcedo, the founder of Kumitapp. To be honest, I'm feeling a bit nervous right now. This is my first time posting on Product Hunt, and gosh, it's even my first time as a founder. I've taken the big leap! If I had to describe myself in two aspects, they would be programmer and martial artist. Besides my family, there's nothing I love more than coding and doing Karate 🥋. Kumitapp comes from merging these aspects and from the dream of being able to work full-time doing the two things I love the most. In 2023, Kumitapp was just a weekend project while I was working as an Engineering Manager at Zoe Financial (A fintech from NY). But in 2024, I took the final leap. With the API finished, I used Flutter to build the first version of our smartphone app. Initially, we want to grow in Spanish-speaking countries. I'm a Venezuelan living in Colombia, and our region still needs a lot of support. However, the vision is for Kumitapp to reach the whole world. There's still a long way to go. That's why I hope you'll excuse the fact that most of Kumitapp's content is in Spanish. But I couldn't miss the opportunity to launch my creation on Product Hunt.
