I’m launching soon. Any advices?
Hi Hunters!
I’m doing my first real launch soon, i’m pretty new to startups world even if i’m working as a programmer for quite a while and i joined multiple startups along the way, being the founder of it is much much different.
As the title says, do you got any advices? Do’s and don’t?
Waiting for your thoughts.
Thanks!

Hey! Huge congrats on preparing for your first real launch — that’s a massive step, and you’re right: being a founder is a whole different game compared to being a team member at a startup.
Here are a few do’s and don’ts I’ve picked up from both launching myself and helping others:
✅ Do’s
Make your message crystal clear — most people spend a few seconds on a launch page. Make sure they immediately understand what problem you solve.
Prep your audience — let your network know in advance (email list, social, groups). A small, supportive push can spark early traction.
Show, don’t just tell — short demo videos or gifs can make your product feel real and easy to understand.
Be super active on launch day — reply to every comment, thank people, and engage like crazy.
Use your own tools if applicable. For example, I used ScanCX (my tool) to audit my own site before launch — found a few trust issues I’d overlooked. 😉
❌ Don’ts
Don’t try to fake engagement. Real people and honest conversations matter more than bots or mass DMs.
Don’t get discouraged by silence or critical comments. Use them as insights — sometimes silence means your message needs tweaking, not that the product is bad.
Don’t launch and ghost. Stay active after your launch, follow up with users, and show progress.
Rooting for you — feel free to share your product once it’s live, happy to support!

@aswin9 thank you so much!
@aswin9Thanks so much for sharing these valuable tips. They’re super helpful, especially since I’m also in the middle of preparing for my first product launch next week. so every bit of insight like this means a lot right now.
Hey @aswin9 , thanks a ton, this is super helpful! ❤️
@aswin9 This is great! We're about to launch in the next couple of months and this bit of advice helps out a ton!
Hi Alex, happy to hear you are launching. People have wrote extensively on what they did, do's and don't.
Have you build a following that will help you launch with momentum?
Are the screenshots and demo videos ready? Is tracking setup on your site?

@mubashirullahd I do have screenshots and tracking, but demo I don't
@mubashirullahd @alex_cloudstar I think a demo video is super helpful, as it shows people what they can expect from your product.

@alex_cloudstar Hey Alex, huge congrats on getting ready for your first launch, that’s a big milestone!
You’re absolutely right: being the founder is a totally different experience, and it can definitely feel overwhelming at first.
I’m also prepping for my own launch next week.
One thing I’m keeping in mind is to have a clear “ask” ready for your audience on launch day. Whether it’s upvotes, feedback, or shares, people usually want to support, but they often need direction. I’m planning to pin a short “how to support” comment right on my launch post to make it easy for folks to jump in.

Hi, I'm in the same boat and I'm a lot on youtube to learn a bit more about common strategies and pitfalls to avoid. So far, I found that the videos are really helpful and digestible. :)
