How do you feel after vacation?

I thought that I need a rest. I had a trip to other country and I was there 5 days. But after this trip I feel that I need to have rest. It was a new country for me and a very active time, also a lot of new people. I think that this is the reason why I don't feel myself relax. What about you?

Same here! Whenever I come back from an out-of-the-box vacation, I feel like going back to my comfort zone and relaxing there for a bit before getting back to work :)
Anna Kasumova
@uemuradani Hi Daniela. Yes, long time I tried to be out of my confort zone, But now I understand that it's not bad and sometimes we need it to relax and get energy!

I also usually a bit tired after visiting a new country((

For a long time by myself I noticed that after a good rest I need another rest))) therefore, I try to give 1-2 more days of rest as a seal after major trips before going to work. It helps!
It sounds like you had an exciting but perhaps overwhelming trip! I can relate to that feeling sometimes. After a vacation, I often find myself in a mixed state of rejuvenation and a bit of adjustment.

I need extra few days (2-3) to recharge before going back to work.

I think it depends on the kind of vacation. If I'm traveling and doing a bunch of things then it can be stressful and tiring. However, if it's with people you are comfortable with and you're not doing stressful things, then it can be relaxing for the soul (if not relaxing for the body too).
Anna Kasumova
@dennis_aronov Hi Dennis. People were too nice but I am tired because I am an introvert a little bit:(

I feel like not going to office for at least 2-3 days after any trip.
Louis Cirignano
@sofia_murphy I resonate with this! If you do still wanna go on vacation, considering that ๐Ÿ˜‚. Check out the coming soon launch next to my name. At times, having days off is essential to truly disconnect and relax. Allowing oneself to do nothing and experience boredom can actually stimulate creativity and motivation. If vacations are consistently tiring and filled with constant activity, they might serve as a change from work, but they might not provide sufficient relaxation and rest. :)
Evgeniya Chernishyova
In fact, traveling is a very energy-consuming activity. You are constantly on the move, consuming tons of new information, solving problems, interacting with new people... It's not surprising that after such a vacation, you need some more passive rest to recover physically and emotionally. That's why I try to leave a few days at the end of my vacation and do almost nothing in a familiar place
Frank Sondors
I didn't have one :D We were building 7 days/week, ha
Anna Kasumova
@profy17 I think sometimes it's very important, Frank. Isn't it?
Frank Sondors
@anna_kasumova to work 7days/week? Yes :)
Anna Kasumova
@profy17 what's happened with him after? ;)

Launching soon!
Sometimes like I need a vacation from my vacation haha.

hmm, vacations are weird, right? you think they'll recharge you, but sometimes they just leave you more drained. it's the paradox of leisure: the very activities meant to refresh us can sometimes exhaust us more. my pro-tip? post-vacation decompression days. when i come back from an action-packed trip, i set aside 2-3 days just to relax and assimilate the experience. no chores, no emails, just me processing the new memories and getting back into the groove. your 'vacation from vacation' might just be the restful epilogue you need to truly recharge. try it.

After Vacation i usually want to change something in my life.
Anna Kasumova
@pablopark for example, what?

I felt terrible after a vacation before, because I needed to get back to work, where I would feel trapped for another 3 months or more before the next trip... Well not anymore, I'm going now on a vacation, and when I get back I will feel great because I work for myself now ๐Ÿ™Œ
Anna Kasumova
@nixisworld what helped you?
Ni๐•i
@anna_kasumova Well, quitting my toxic job helped, but if that is not an option, journaling is what helped me the most, seeing why I felt the way I felt, and trying to improve upon it.

at my lowest self when I should feel rejuvenated

LIKE, I NEED A VACATION! :D There is motivation for the work for sure, so it was definitely a mental vacation, but physically I wanna rest for a few more days.
Anna Kasumova
@sandradjajic Hi Sandra! Thank you for your reply. I am looking forward of your next launch. You are a very interesting person, I like you and your work! :)

Usually refreshed but also kinda stressed with the pile-up of work, But I really try to enjoy and relax.

When I want to relax, I try to organize my vacation in such a way that later, I donโ€™t have to rest from vacation. ๐Ÿ˜€ If the vacation goes well, you usually want to return to work as soon as possible.
Anna Kasumova
@nickanisimov yes I think that the key is to organize it in this way. I didn't do this. So now I am like a squeezed lemon
George Burmistrov
I'm among those who need a vacation after they had a vacation :D
