Building with passion - my journey from Indie Dev to Product Hunter
Hey everyone! đź‘‹
I’m a software developer and a huge foodie. By day, I work a regular 9-to-5 job, but outside of that, I’ve been building something close to my heart - a tool designed to make our workdays more enjoyable and bring teams closer by letting them show appreciation to each other in the form of pizzas 🍕
Teamwork has always been the most important part of any project for me. I truly believe that recognition and a little bit of fun can make a huge difference in how we collaborate. That’s why I built PizzaTime - a playful way for teams to celebrate each other’s efforts and make the workday more enjoyable, simply by saying "thanks" and sending a pizza to someone who helped you.
The project is already live, and I’m really happy that plenty of teams have decided to give it a try! Knowing that people appreciate the idea keeps me motivated to keep improving it. Though it’s still in its early days, I have lots of new features planned and am actively working on bringing them to life. For the fellow tech enthusiasts out there, I also share progress updates on the development side of things across different social networks - so if that sounds interesting, feel free to follow along!
Now, after months of exploring Product Hunt, discovering amazing products, and getting inspired by all the creative minds here, I’m finally stepping into the role of a hunter myself! It’s both exciting and a little nerve-wracking, but I’m thrilled to be part of this journey.
I know I don’t have a big network of followers to boost my launch, and honestly, there’s a chance it might not get much attention. But I’m still hopeful! My goal is simply to make my work discoverable to more people who might find it useful and fun. If even a few teams benefit from it, that would already mean a lot to me.
So, if you’ve ever launched your own product, I’d love to hear your best tips on how to introduce it to the world in a way that feels natural and engaging - or any advice on navigating the launch itself.
Looking forward to connecting with you all!
