Hey Product Hunt Community 🖐❤️ The creator economy is an incredibly exciting space. As the attention span of consumers declines, we are seeing a shift away from the creative and entertainment giants such as Netflix, Apple Music, and Spotify, towards independent creators, who are literally making money off their passions from anywhere in the world. According to our research, there are over 235 creator-focused companies that are capitalizing on each step of the creator work cycle, from content creation to off-platform monetization to audience management. Keep in mind that this number will drastically change in 2022. The Information estimates that nearly $3.7 billion has been invested into creator-focused startups in the US as of October 2021. And they say investments could hit $5 billion in 2022. This whole space is new and there are very few valuable resources that can guide aspiring entrepreneurs to the right business model, market positioning, getting traction, etc. That’s why I took some of my time to talk to a handful of founders that were kind enough to share their pitch decks (that secured millions of dollars in funding).
