@nivo0o0 no, you don't have to. I have been using it since beta version and it works great.
@nivo0o0 iMazing devs here - iTunes does other things than iMazing. iMazing is great for better access to your phone's stuff, and for backing up - restoring. iTunes has the App store, and is a media Library. We're not a replacement, but a great complement, and we enable many things which are simply impossible with iTunes!

@chrismessina Hi! Actually, we were here first ;) We started right at the time the first iPhone came out. I'd say iMazing simply offers many more features - PhoneView is clean and well made, but iMazing lets you do much more ( music transfer both ways, backup & restore, WiFi transfers, and so much more... ). iMazing's trial is not time limited, and quite a lot is completely free. Why don't you give it a go? No registration required, at all. Simply download from our website and install.
Can someone please tell me why is it so difficult to delete Voice Memos? with iMazing or iTunes or iPhone, no way to bulk delete Voice Memos, and this Apple is profitable? Unbelievable.
@mitzkahdrinnen Hello Richard - indeed, bulk deleting Voice Memos is a pain. You could delete all of them at once with iMazing, though:
- Force quit the Voice Memos app
- In iMazing, Navigate to File System->Media/Recordings
- Delete all the files there
- Relaunch Voice Memos
This also works without a license, in our free trial. I know it's not an ideal solution, but it's better than nothing!
Can anybody point out the differences between this and the previous version? Not looking forward to paying a $19.95 upgrade fee for reasons that aren't clear.
@anodigital Sure! Besides the nice UI upgrade, iMazing 2 offers a brand new backup solution which automatically archives your backups so that they are never overwritten. We optimise disk usage a lot: you can keep literally dozens of backups at the cost of just a single extra backup. @gregorio_zanon so will my original iMazing not work now that I've upgraded to iOS10?
@anodigital There were huge changes in the backup format. You'll still be able to back up, but not to browse backups with iMazing 1.
I can't tell from the feature list here (https://imazing.com/features/tra... ) -- can iMazing pull the pictures out of iMessages so that I am left with a folder of pictures?
@twynk Yes it can. Select Messaged, then click 'Export Attachments' and choose where you want these attachments to go!
