We love Font Awesome, but sometimes wish it offered more than one style. Line Awesome is a drop-in alternative made with modern line icons. Offering complete coverage of FA with 1380+ icons, you will never have to worry about hunting for a missing icon. These beautiful icons are ideal for use in web projects, designs, or apps. Our production CDN serves the icons for free– just add one line of code and you are ready to go! It really doesn’t get much easier than this. 😉 Icons8 is proud to open-source Line Awesome, so use it anywhere and everywhere! PS: This is our 25th(!) Product Hunt launch and we would like to celebrate with everyone here! As a rule we never run discount promotions, but for one week we are offering 25% off our Icons8 subscription which gives you access to everything we have built (and will build) for $15/mo. You can do it here https://icons8.com/celebrate 🎉

Some fun stats I looked up out of interest in the 25 launches–– 🔼 20,876 Product Hunt upvotes (870 avg 🚀) 🆓 Every product has had a generous free tier or been open-sourced 📅 The first launch was 5 years ago, which means an Icons8 launch happens every 2.4 months on average (this is closer to monthly in 2019! 🏃‍♀️💨)

@rrhoover what's the reason behind flagging us down? I mean, I have lots of sins on my account to burn in hell 👺, but flagging down? 😆
Martin LeBlanc
Great work, Ivan and team!
Ivan Braun
@leblancstartup ladies and gentlemen, ☝️this is the opinion of a huge expert, the founder of https://IconFinder.com !
Marios Pittas
Great set of icons! Good job.
Ivan Braun
@itsamemarios thanks for taking time to write that! That's how you motivate us, a lot.
Malik Tauqeer
Wow! Thank you so much for open sourcing this. I have been looking for such icons and you just helped me. :)
Ivan Braun
@malik_tauqeer many thanks for appreciating it. Creating them was one thing; taking heart to open source it was a whole different thing. You ask yourself: "Would people buy anything from us again?"
Malik Tauqeer
@visualpharm You have done a fantastic work by open sourcing it. I know people won't buy it as you've already open sourced it. What you could have done is open source a few of them, just to give an idea to users and offer some purchase bundles.
Ivan Braun
@malik_tauqeer that's about the idea. People use the basic icon pack, grow out of it, buy https://icons8.com/icons. Let's hope it works this way, not other way around: people find a free alternative and unsubscribe, haha.
Malik Tauqeer
@visualpharm haha, yes you're right. But those who really need premium stuff will def. buy. Wish you best of luck!
Julia Gnedin
More than 1380? Looks great product!
Ivan Braun
@julia_gnedina your comment opened a new perspective to me. I think we've got some weird precision here. 1000+ looks good, 1380 looks good, 1380+ looks weird. Thank you for opening my eyes!
Tim Romanse
Wow! Thanks guys! I cant wait to try it!
Ivan Braun
@tim_romanse one thing that we, the makers of the digital goods, miss: the box opening videos. I dream about the day someone posts one.
Anton Tarasov
Looks so beautiful and simple to use.
Ivan Braun
@anton_tarasov1 Thank you! 🖤
Ryan Roberts
Just a wee note, your Amazon logo in the set appears to be borked.
Margarita
@yepdigital Hi! Thank you for being so attentive and supporting! We finally won this battle with the tricky icon, it is correct now.
Ivan Braun
@yepdigital @margarita_ivanchikova111 thank you for a quick fix, mate. Let's give people SVGs now (below in the comments).
Gercek Armagan
@visualpharm is it possible to download these as svg?
Ivan Braun
@fricklers weird, but no. Will add them to the .zip file. Thanks!!
Gercek Armagan
@visualpharm thanks this will make our life much easier to be able to use the icons while designing fast.
Ivan Braun
@fricklers already in our backlog, right on the top
Marina Yalanska
Another pack of handy stuff for designers and developers to make the Web more elegant and beautiful. Kudos!
Ivan Braun
@myalanska many thanks!
Bunin Dmitriy
Awesome product, perfect alternative to fa!
Ivan Braun
@bunin shout out to https://buninux.com/ - the most beautiful of the currently supported UI kits!
Hunter Becton
I'm surprised these haven't been hunted before! I've used them for awhile, but I definitely wish there was a Figma / Sketch file with all the icons for my design system. Right now I copy the icon I want from the website, paste it in a text layer with the Line Awesome font, and convert it to a shape.
Ivan Braun
@hunterbecton that's a great idea; I wonder why we didn't do it before. Will do. Meantime, if someone has a ready file for Sketch/Lunacy, Figma, XD, Photoshop or anything, please send it to us and we'll add it to the zip file.
Sandoche
Very good one from icons8 as always, I'll add it to https://undesign.learn.uno
Ivan Braun
@sandochee you are our hero, as always! 🖤
Sandoche
@visualpharm Hi, I finaly added it!
Ray Li
Please add the ability to use the icons with circular caps. Circular caps looks much more elegant than hard square ones.
Tyler Lastovich
@rayliverified Good feedback, thanks!
Ivan Braun
@rayliverified circular caps? Could you show an example please?
Tyler Lastovich
@visualpharm I think the stroke cap is what the comment is about (how a line is terminated). Is that correct @rayliverified?
Ray Li
@visualpharm @tylerlastovich Yes, that's exactly it!
Ribier Design
good i love
Henry Zhang
Looks incredibly useful! I appreciate the innovation over something like Font Awesome.
Ivan Braun
@henry_zhang3 thank you! We touched the classics — thanks for not judging us, haha
Alex Barlow
Going to give this a go :)
Tyler Lastovich
@alex_barlow Let us know how it turns out! 😎
Ivan Braun
@alex_barlow I would love to know your feedback. People complained on our CDN's CORS headers; I'm sure there's something more to wish for our next release.
Pies Reynold
i am miss brenda i have private disscusion with you via at my email (piesbrenda106@gmail.com)
Ivan Braun
@pies_reynold I'm a little afraid to stay face to face with you.
Paul Malaj
Looks nice. But do you plan to support this product in the future? I don't want to beg developers every time I need a new icon.
Ivan Braun
@pavel_malay on a time-to-time basis. Line Awesome is 3 years old, and as you see, we keep updating it. It's not enough though. We have 15 open issues here https://github.com/icons8/line-a... Contributors are welcome of course; if anyone wants to check our pull requests, please raise a hand.
Lυis
Looks great & super easy to use. Will definitely test it out when I need icons the next time! :)
