Humantic AI Sales Assistant — Prospect intelligence that closes more deals

When you don't know your customers, you lose deals. But research is tedious, and you hardly get to know the person anyway.
Humantic AI sales assistant will ensure that you know every prospect, what makes them buy, what doesn’t so that you. Close. Every. Time.

Love this! Can't believe how cool this product is. I didn't know this could be done at such a great level but now can't think of why NOT to use it. Great stuff!
Amarpreet Kalkat
@sandeep_talukdar Well, yes, it can be, although it has taken us 5 years in some ways to make this technology accurate! Thanks a bunch!
Amarpreet Kalkat
Thanks @kevin for sharing our sales assistant with the PH community! You the man, bud. Selling has all of a sudden gone completely virtual and remote, but it doesn't have to become a series of impersonal, soulless zoom calls. This will not only help salespeople make that personal, empathetic connection, it will do it with oomph & style - bringing them prospect intelligence that otherwise would need a researcher looking that prospect up! The feedback from our beta users has been super-positive, you will just simply LOVE what it can do for you to hit your numbers if you are a salesperson. And as always, while our pricing plans are super affordable starting at $9 per user, here is a ProductHunt special 25% discount for the first 500 users: PHCLOSEMORE25 To more closed deals!

The product is very slick in its user experience and provides valuable insights about prospects, that are readily usable for sales. Working alongside a LinkedIn profile and on demand, is a definite plus! All the best to Amarpreet and the Humantic team on this launch!
Amarpreet Kalkat
@goodals Hey thanks man, coming from a #salesintelligence pro like you, it pumps us up even more!

It would help to explain a bit about how the product works to build confidence. It appears to just scrape the linkedin page you're looking at and then make up some mumbo-jumbo guess about their personality based on text mining, kind of like a bogus fortune-teller. Then some sales clichés added in: "Compliment them on their personality!" I think a human could do that infinitely better and there's no real "scale" component to it either... so this just seems like a fun novelty. It reminds me a bit of those early facebook games where you could buy/sell friends. The pitch is "we'll give you an accurate personality profile based on a LI profile!" I assume you didn't get Satya Nadella to take a DISC quiz for you. Do you have access to some special sources of data? Is there something else going on here that is unique?
DC
and I assume it's also data mining all the pages you look at, kind of as a backdoor way to building a rapportive type database. An interesting idea but you should disclose it. Reminds me of Onavo the "helpful VPN!"
Amarpreet Kalkat
@dcsan Hey David, about you it says that "If you earn their trust and they develop faith in the product, they can make decisions quickly.", so am gonna try to skip the negative assumptions and respond to you objectively. Let's see if we can help with that confidence thing a little. "Would help to explain..." We already have if you check our home page. I will copy paste it verbatim here: 'Humantic AI is a pioneer in the field of predictive behavioral assessment. The Humantic platform is not just a Machine Learning and AI platform, it combines ML & AI with Social & IO Psychology, Computational Linguistics and Psycholinguistics, thereby creating one of the most powerful cross-domain applied research systems in the world. It combines 25+ year old research done by Prof. James Pennebaker (UT Austin) et all establishing strong correlations between linguistics and personality with work done by Dr. Michal Kosinski (Stanford University) et all establishing correlations between social activity and behavior. Dr. Kosinski also sits on Humantic AI's Science Advisory Board and advises some of its research and algorithm initiatives.' "I think a human could do that infinitely better" Actually, research shows that human accuracy of behavior prediction is around 60%, and computers beat it easily if there is enough data. So all of us think 'man, i am so good at deciphering people!', but guess how many people will be below 60% if that is the average? And if you'd like more scientific proof, see: https://www.michalkosinski.com/r... "there's no real "scale" component to it either" we can do it from linkedin, twitter, resumes, written text and will keep adding more data sets. I think that should make it scaleable. "I assume you didn't get Satya Nadella to take a DISC quiz for you." No we didn't, and neither should you. Taking DISC quizzes should be passe, we are in 2020. "Do you have access to some special sources of data?" I thought only VCs talk about 'data is the moat' these days, NLP/ML engineers don't. But anyway, see below. "Is there something else going on here that is unique?" See above, "it combines ML & AI with Social & IO Psychology, Computational Linguistics and Psycholinguistics". By now, you would know why we don't use 'neuroscience' there - because we like to be specific and objective. Let me invite you to come and try it out, and then let's see what you have to say?
Amarpreet Kalkat
@dcsan No, it doesn't. And it never will. Not sure why you would make that assumption.
DC
@amarpreetkalkat > NLP/ML engineers don't ... value data Really? Well yes, I do value data. At an extreme you could just give a profile based on someone's starsign... or a single page LI profile. But meaningfully you would need a bit more info. > computers beat humans easily if enough data In the case where there is more data than a human can reasonably analyze sure. But given minimal data (like a one page LI profile)... do you really think your "algorithm" is better than a human at drawing conclusions? > disc quizzes should be passe agreed! But you seem to list these instant summaries as a product point? Without any detailed input they're even more random BS. So to have any value I assume you must be cross-correlating with other data sources like clearbit, as Drift and other companies do. Given that you also operate a Chrome plugin that scrapes LI data while you're logged in, I really think you need to be more transparent with what's going on. If it's really just hocus pocus "NLP" on a single-page profile then I guess we just put it next to linkedin horoscopes, fortune-telling and numerology... just another step in the tinder-ization of linkedin. As entertainment this stuff is fine.
Amarpreet Kalkat
@dcsan Mate, if this is your response, I don't think you are sincere in your criticism. Otherwise you would at least try the product first, then read the research, and stop talking about just NLP because there is a lot more than NLP going on here (again, if you will read). I think we will just let readers decide whether they want to trust a person who wants to criticise something because in their 'opinion' and visibly limited knowledge, something is not possible. Or they want to trust reviews by dozens of users, some of them founders who have built companies worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Out.
Sachin Kinra
Hamantic AI is the 'new normal' for me. I'd tested humantic first on my own profile then on people whom I know really well and once I got convinced....started using for every single prospect. And would tell you it's just awesome'. @amanpreetkalkat - a nifty suggestion but could be powerful. Can the summary be more biteable?
Amarpreet Kalkat
@sachin_kinra Wow, 'new normal' is big, thanks Sachin. And yes, v2 will not just bite more, it would even punch more;)
Anshuman Baruah
A much required product, especially during these times when sales is mostly virtual. Knowing anyone better always helps! I have seen a few profiles, looks interesting, and it's addictive too.
Amarpreet Kalkat
@anshumanbaruah1 Hey thanks Anshuman!
Suresh Sambandam
The Humantic app is simply addictive. I tried it for a couple of prospects and then I just didn't want to talk to any new prospect without first checking what Humantic had to say about them! It is not off the mark too often, but even when it is, it is still directionally quite useful. I want all our sales teams using it every time they are engaging with prospects
Amarpreet Kalkat
@sureshsambandam Thanks Suresh, your feeback has partially helped shape this up. We are super excited about working with the Kissflow team!
Prasanna K
I've only tried this as a drinking game :) so I can't tell you how much it improves sales conversions - I can tell you it definitely makes for a fun party game :)
Amarpreet Kalkat
@prasanna_says So a total win-win when the sale is happening during a drinks party then? :D
Ravi Trivedi
A great product by @amarpreetkalkat . We found that you can use it in prospecting & understanding if a buyer has authority, or what kind of buyer they are. We are very happy with what we have seen in terms of our ability to personalize, and looking to use it further to improve our sales conversion.
Amarpreet Kalkat
@trivediravi Thanks Ravi, been great to have you as an early user. Really glad you guys like it, here is to closing a lot more often!
Monique Davis
I used this product and gained a client worth thousands of dollars. As a boutique training and talent sourcing firm This was a big deal for me! Still is!! I’m a 100% supporter of all things humantics at this point
Prateek Rakesh
Thanks @amarpreetkalkat for this product . As a sales professional , i want to get some insight about my prospect before sending the email or call . I think product like this will be a great help . My best wishes to you and your team .
Amarpreet Kalkat
@prateek_rakesh Thanks Prateek, it 100% would!
Sudarsan Ravi
Simply put it makes selling human. Having a humantic profile before you talk to a prospect is helpful. And we can all use the help we get during the era of zoom sales calls.
Amarpreet Kalkat
@sudarsanravi1 Thanks, that's something we feel strongly about. Virtual interactions start squeezing 'humanity' out of the equation, our goal is to use AI to put 'humanity' back in it. hence the name Humantic AI, actually.
Abhash Kumar
Great stuff @amarpreetkalkat ! Will share this with the Sales team at Springworks.
Amarpreet Kalkat
@abhash_kumar2 Thanks Abhash! Nothing better, this is turning out to be a god day already!
Aditya Sanghi
The product is excellent. It gives very useful pointers for sales. I have tried to look at profiles i know very well and the product seems to be quite accurate. The experience is very slick and it grows on you like addiction :). I have now shared it with my sales team, looking forward to better sales results!!
Akhilesh Damaraju
Thanks @aditya_sanghi, would love to hear all about how your sales team will use Humantic. We shall be ready to support them even more in the upcoming versions :)
Anand Jain
A unique product by @amarpreetkalkat. I've been using it for a few days now, and the accuracy of the results is just mind blowing. I guess, we'll start using this for our sales team to give them a extra intel on the prospect and to help them close more efficiently. I haven't seen anything like this!
Amarpreet Kalkat
@anand_jain1 Wow, thanks Anand! There'd be nothing better than to have your kickass sales team using this!
Tapan Kumar Panda
Salesforce automation is going to be a key driver for future particularly in contactless economy. This is going to fill a great void
Amarpreet Kalkat
@tapan_kumar_panda Thanks Tapan. The future of selling is going to be different indeed, and we need to bring more 'humanization' to the sales process. Understanding people is the starting point!
Naman Vijay
Accurate product. Have been using it for both sales and hiring and it's a nice add on that gives a direction before jumping on to a cold call.
Rohith Veerajappa
Nifty sales assistant! Very useful for SDR's.
Debashis Pal
Brilliant. The penultimate stage before AI does the complete selling cycle without humans.
Amarpreet Kalkat
@debashis_pal1 Not really, just the penultimate stage before AI+human intelligence become seamlessly smooth. No more piecemeal AI!
Rahamathulla Achukatla
Great product, loved using it. Tried the solution and got 100% results...
