Hey! We're excited to announce the launch of our latest tool in our All-In-One Analytics & Feedback suite called Incoming Feedback.
Incoming Feedback gives you instant visual feedback for your website or app.
Incoming Feedback would not have been possible without the support and drive of the Hotjar team and community.
We’re still a long way away from where we want to be but we are counting on all your feedback with Incoming Feedback to get us there faster.
There's also an exclusive offer for the Product Hunt community. Get an extended 90-day trial to experience the full Hotjar Experience.
I’ll be around today along with some of our team members to answer any questions you all have.
Happy hunting!
@daviddarmanin awesome tool guys - I've been using it in BETA so excited that it's out now! Customers are often genuinely trying to help out and this helps them do it quickly and accurately. Thanks!
@daviddarmanin I absolutely love incoming feedback tool! And congrats to the official launch. I'm keeping an eye on it. PS: Ping me when you will be ready for internationalization.
Woah! This is pure awesome. By solving the user problems, and the conversion rates sky rocket. Thanks for the building this, can't wait to start using this.
One question, hope users can easily send feedbacks on their phones too. What're the minimum resolutions, OS, hardware accepted on the phone, to use this functionality?
@thesureshg Hi Suresh! Great question - yes, Incoming Feedback also collects feedback from sites on mobile browsers. We support all modern mobile browsers which means that you should be able to collect feedback from all your mobile traffic. There are no restrictions on the hardware or OS you use as long as your mobile browser is able to run JavaScript. On the other hand, we don't yet support Incoming Feedback on native apps (via an SDK) but that's something we may be working on in the near future. Hope this helps!
Being one of the first Hotjar users, I've tested this feature for a while now.
It's a great tool when asking and giving specific feedback: design elements, copy structure etc.
It really helps you connect the dots and fill in the blanks.
Love it.
Big thanks to everyone for the support yesterday from the whole Hotjar team!
It's no surprise that we love feedback :) and we really appreciate all the feedback we received from everyone here yesterday.
Please keep it coming!
Nice! :) I've tested BETA and the idea behind it is really awesome. You can say it's like a Invision but for REAL websites and REAL users. Select and comment specific elements on site - simple as that. I think it can be also used for other reasons. For instance to feedback unreleased Blog / Medium articles (Hotjar recently used it that way as well as far as I know). Go go Incoming Feedback! :] Great job Hotjar guys, stay awesome! ;)
I do enjoy this new product for Hotjar, it's a great addition to an already fantastic suite of products. However, I do hope that it become better encouraging and teaching users to add quality feedback. Right the users side's UX for non-technical people is pretty bad.
@phanos_chelios_demetriou Thanks Phanos! The great thing with Incoming Feedback is that it will help you identify what's working well and what needs to be improved so you can better prioritize improvements. You will then be able to measure the performance of those changes over time. Really looking forward to your feedback as you start using it! :)
