Surprised this is not product of the day yet, it seems everyone is going bananas about this everywhere. Love the Honk, makes me think of AIM Buzz!
Instead of ellipses we get to see the thought/text in action! The "honk"ing reminds me of MSN Messenger's Nudge.
Honk is so much fun! I shared it with my gf and now her and I have a blast sending each other poop emojis — I’ve honked her over 200 times already lol
Not sure I'm in the target audience to be honest... GenZ have completely different behaviour on social media and communication tools, so it might be something they'll appreciate :)
I find the concept refreshing and exciting! It seems to make messaging faster and to be a fun way of messaging. Voice messages may be more efficient in terms of information density, but not everyone always has the opportunity to record and listen to them everywhere and all the time. Too bad that the app is only available for iOS so far. I would like to see an Android app as well, so plus one for that.
