Hey Product Hunt, this comment is a collaboration of Hireproof team members Nick (Product), Neea (Customer Success), Max (CEO), and Niklas (CTO) writing in a shared google doc, and we'll try to keep this brief.
OUR STORY

We were facilitating a few dozen interviews per month, and we were exhausted. Collecting feedback, maintaining the quality of interviews we were not present for, and making decisions with minimal data points. We knew we could do better, and less than a week after that Reddit post, we started building. We received backing from a VC firm with only a team and a dream just two months later. After being waitlist-only for seven months as we built out our initial offering, we're ready to fix hiring processes for the masses, and we're celebrating by launching on Product Hunt.

THE PROBLEM
Everyone knows hiring is broken. For the past decade, the workload has been shifting from the HR department to the candidates. Candidates aren't happy, processes have institutional bias, and job offers are being sent based on the wrong metrics. Now, especially with the "labor shortage," it's time to break that pattern and make hiring human again.

Hiring managers' dreams come true when they can take a deep dive into the interview results and compare and contrast candidates based on skills and behavioral competencies. Feedback is easily digestible and can be shared with the candidate or colleagues.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Oh, tons of stuff. The next year will be dominated by creating integrations with popular ATSs to accommodate our enterprise customers. We are growing our team to support our product and the increasing number of users.

@linusgeffarth Hi, thanks for the question! Hireproof is a tool for the interviewer to design, run and review interviews. The candidates attend the interviews as per usual, but they don't use the app. Let me know if you have any further questions, I'd be happy to help!

@hai_ta1 We feel that there are so many complex ways of trying to find the right candidate and also that a lot of that work is shifted on the candidate (long or even multiple assessments, one-sided video "interviews" etc.) and we hope to make the interview process better for all parties.
It's not going to be an easy journey to make this change, but we're really excited to be a part of it!
