HeySummit — Online summits, made simple

We've considered throwing an online Product Hunt summit but haven't found good tooling to do so (and frankly, it hasn't been our highest priority). Let's take a poll: Would you attend an online Product Hunt summit? (and if you have ideas of how we should run it, add in the comments below)

I remember the original Summit Ben and team put on back in the day, and I've loved seeing how organically, step by step, the team have grown this into the successful business it is today. If you're looking to host an online summit, there's really nowhere else you should be looking.

Love this! I was really impressed by an early version of this I saw in action a few months ago — Beautiful UI, great functionality and support from the team behind it. The best part in my opinion though, is how a solution like HeySummit can empower anyone to create an online summit accessible to all and help spread good ideas regardless of physical barriers. Hello Product Hunters :) Ben here from HeySummit. We’re really excited to be launching on PH. The last year and a half has been an incredible journey. The idea for HeySummit was born from a simple need we had back in 2018 - or so we thought. Let’s host an online summit with 100+ speakers. Simple. Except it wasn’t. We couldn’t find a platform that would enable us to setup, promote and deliver an event like this. Sure, enterprise ‘event’ platforms existed but they were way too clunky and expensive. And they typically focused on offline events. So we thought we’d build one ourselves. In a little under 8 weeks, we went from having the idea to run a 100 speaker event, to building the platform from scratch and then hosting the event. Apart from hosting each talk live, everything was handled by the platform. It was such a success that we very quickly found many of the event’s attendees, speakers and sponsors asking us where they could get hold of the summit platform. We spent the next few months re-building the platform and enhancing it. Fast forward to today and we now have thousands of customers and have had amazing events hosted on our platform (with speakers from companies like Intercom, HubSpot and CrazyEgg - to name but a few). Most importantly though, we’ve helped our customers deliver compelling events that have helped them broaden their authority in their space, increase their marketing exposure and in many cases, generate an incredible amount of revenue. I like that it works and If I get stuck, I know that there's someone to help me and not just within the company. HeySummit has a great Slack community! I also like that they held a 4 week Boot camp to teach me how to host my first summit.

There are SO many variables putting together an online summit. To have something that helps me organize those variables into something manageable saves me time, money, and stress. The developers are listening to the users and the product continues to get updated. Truly one of my favorite tools.

One of the reasons I love this platform is because it gives both the participants and the contributors a great look and feel. As founder of a Digital Marketing Agency, I decided to support my clients such as coaches, consultants, personal development trainers, speakers, lawyers, dentists, plastic surgeons, churches, real estate professionals, and other small business owners. One of the unique ways to provide additional value to my clients is to allow them to host a virtual summit in their respective industries. So far, HeySummit delivers on its promise to provide a complete A to Z solution for hosting online virtual summits and the platform continually keeps improving. I am impressed with all the versatility, variety, and the heavy-lifting that HeySummit is doing in the background so that my clients can have a successful summit. The areas of IMPROVEMENT I would bring attention to the platform would be: 1. Add more options within the HeySummit platform to promote the events on all social media channels; YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, etc. via an API 2. Allow current customers of HeySummit the ability to view other examples of past summits, or current summits to draw from perhaps even use as templates. For example, if I want to run a "REAL ESTATE" virtual summit, I could easily view past / current examples of real estate summits and use myself easily without having to start from scratch. 3. The activity & reporting analytics section could use some improvement for better UI / UX. 4. Under "Event Setup" Payment methods, Payout Settings: I would highly recommend HeySummit add additional features such as the ability to payout via: ACH (An ACH transfer is an electronic, bank-to-bank transfer processed by the Automated Clearing House network.), STRIPE, & BITCOIN. 5. I also recommend adding more "Payout Currency" options instead of just three to choose from: (GBP, USD, EUR). 6. I recommend adding more options for "Webinar Providers" currently, support for only ZOOM, BIGMARKER, & LIVE WEBINAR. StealthSeminar, WebinarJam, ZOHO, and GoToWebinar for example could be added. 7. TRAINING. I would have a module within the platform that trains new users how to take advantage of every feature of HeySummit through video tutorials. There are so many features, it can be overwhelming and paralyzing for new users to figure all this stuff out on one's own. 8. Last recommendation would be to have a pool of HeySummit partner digital marketing freelance professionals "at the ready" to help customers of HeySummit run a successful virtual summit. I would add a new tab under the HeySummit Dashboard and name it: "DIGITAL HELP" Speaking from experience, I would have LOVED if I could within HeySummit, look for professionals that had skill sets I needed to help me run a smooth summit. Skills such as: Facebook Ads Expert, YouTube Ads Expert, Virtual Assistant, Graphic Designer, Email Marketing Expert, Sales Funnel Builder, Copywriter, Sales, etc. Final thoughts, HeySummit now, is what the iPhone was when it first came out: In a league of its own. And just like the iPhone, there is still so much growth and potential for HeySummit to improve upon. I believe in the platform so much, that I am glad I am a customer for life! HeySummit is a Digital Marketing Agency's SECRET WEAPON & Swiss Army Knife. Even with the already robust features of HeySummit, there is no market competitor that comes close at all the features and integrations that are readily available to help one run a successful summit. With HeySummit you could execute a professional looking and running summit even if it was your first. They thought about everything! I highly recommend

I love this product! And the customer service is beyond amazing. I am really happy with the platform and the service. My first summit will happen January 2020. So far everything is going pretty smooth. I could not be happier.
