It's the first time I've seen an app like this. It's really interesting to me, especially since I've yet to see the Northern Lights. I'd love to hear from the ?makers a bit about the story. What inspired you to create this?

@leandro8209 Hey Leandro, the app is made from our experience of browsing many website to find the aurora forecast. Living in Iceland where the weather is unpredictable, it's very challenging to find the accurate forecast therefore we created this app. One obstacle we found from our own experience is that you don't know where you should go and hunt it therefore we also add the unique feather where users can share their location when spotted the lights. The app will send notification to other users and let them know that Aurora is visible around their current GPS location. We launched the app for almost a year now and are very happy with the result. We continuously adding more feature and implement the app to bring the best experience to our users.

Hello aurora is based on our own experience. We live in Iceland and one of the activities that we enjoy the most during the winter is to hunt the Northern Lights. To look for the forecast we have to browse multiple websites and applications to find the accurate forecast, such as the weather forecast, cloud coverage, weather alert, road condition and more. So we had this idea to create a Northern Lights application where it includes everything in one app and users can share their experience and location to other Aurora enthusiasts when they spot the lights. Our intention and the main focus is to make the app user-friendly yet providing all the information related to the Northern Lights in an easy way to understand. The app will become aurora hunter's best friend when it comes to aurora hunting.

@zackshapiro We are a bit late on Product Hunt. I recommending try the app next time when you visit the Northern Lights country. You can also customize your location within the app and it will notify you when the forecast is great or when someone shares their location on your chosen location. This is also a good way to keep you updated for your next Northern Lights trip :)
