Hey everyone! We’re so excited to bring the next generation of Gyroscope to everyone. This version makes our signature trackers even better — letting people easily track food, places, calories and much more — and also upgrades our AI coaching system to be about 100x more intelligent than the first version we released a few years ago. The most common goal people have when signing up is losing bodyfat, so we’ve optimized the entire experience around that. With the new protocol (and free course), you’ll have everything needed to ensure that the weight loss comes from bodyfat rather than valuable muscle mass. Whether on GLP1 meds where this is essential, or just wanting to lose a few pounds after the holidays, we think this protocol can change the world if everyone follows it. We just put the app up in the app store, so give it a try and let us know what you think! PS: Since this is a common question: The app does require an iPhone right now, the android platform currently isn’t quite polished enough to meet the our quality bar—but hopefully one day in the future that will change

Gyroscope: A Long-Time User's Perspective on its AI-Powered Evolution

I've been a Gyroscope user since pretty much the beginning, and it's been fascinating to watch it evolve. Back when I started, the term "AI" wasn't even part of the health tracking conversation!

For those who don't know, Gyroscope is an app that aims to be your comprehensive health guardian, pulling in data from various sources to give you a holistic view of your well-being. It tracks everything from your steps and sleep to your heart rate and even your mood.

Initially, Gyroscope was great for data aggregation and visualization. It neatly presented your health metrics, but it was largely up to you to interpret the data and draw conclusions.

The real game-changer has been the integration of AI. Now, Gyroscope isn't just passively collecting data; it's actively analyzing it, identifying patterns, and offering personalized insights. It's like having a personal health coach in your pocket!

Pros:

  • Comprehensive Tracking: Integrates with a wide range of apps and devices for a complete picture of your health.

  • AI-Powered Insights: The AI algorithms provide actionable recommendations based on your data.

  • Beautiful Visualizations: Gyroscope presents your data in a clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand way.

  • Personalized: The app learns your habits and preferences over time, making the insights even more relevant.

  • Long-term Tracking: Great for identifying trends and patterns over months and years.

Cons:

  • Subscription Cost: Gyroscope does have a subscription fee, which may be a barrier for some users. However, I believe the value it provides in terms of insights and motivation is well worth the cost.

Final Thoughts:

Gyroscope has come a long way since its early days. The addition of AI has transformed it from a simple data aggregator into a powerful tool for improving your health and well-being. If you're serious about tracking your health and want actionable insights, I highly recommend giving Gyroscope a try. To connect, my profile is: https://gyrosco.pe/andreapessotto/ :)

Gyroscope’s new focus on bodyfat-specific tracking and AI coaching sounds incredibly thoughtful. How personalized does the protocol get when adapting to different lifestyles or fitness levels?

Anand Sharma

@felixgerlach yep, extremely customized, theres a lot of calculations going on to apply it for that particular person like measuring the TDEE, BMR, food intake, fat loss, etc and adjusting everything to make the numbers work.

the protocol itself is committing to this specific 12 step approach that we have tested and research, so there is an objective checklist - like strength training needs to be done, but the actual specifics of how you want to do it can be very customized, whether you want to do it at home or at a gym etc. so that is where having your own realtime coach can be really powerful
