Back in 2015, I'd go on Product Hunt every day to search for new ways to drive growth for our startup business, including referral marketing tools.
After 2 years of searching, we started working on GrowSurf in 2017 because we couldn't find a referral software that fit the needs of our startup (simple, modern, high-quality, and affordable) and we got tired of waiting for someone else to build it.
Since launching GrowSurf, we've had the honor of helping our customers find some amazing success with referrals, achieving anywhere from 9-40% monthly growth and generating 300-1000% ROI. We've saved product teams, marketers, and entrepreneurs months in development costs and efforts.
It's been over a year since our last PH launch, and we've had some major updates:
• 11 new integrations
• 7 new countries supported for gift cards
• 5 new anti-fraud tools/features added
• 4 new landing page templates
• 4 new social share options (Google, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, WeChat)
• 3 new embeddable widgets
• 100% branding customization
• Support for custom domains and email addresses
• Added a lot more API endpoints, JS methods, and support for metadata
• 3 brand new websites (marketing site, blog, help center)
• Major dashboard improvements (advanced leaderboard views, bulk actions, smarter search)
• Though it's not a visible change, we've implemented major improvements in the backend to handle the growing traffic load (Kubernetes, NATS, Redis)
Happy GrowSurf user for a while. My needs for my side-project are very standard, and the product solved my problem very easily. Back then I searched for days and tried several options, none of them was good enough. I even argued with the GrowSurf team for some mistakes on their UX :) they took it nicely. They designed one of the proper user interfaces and constantly iterating for a better user experience. I really liked the latest features they added. And I love companies 100% bootstrapped.
