Hey Product Hunt Community 👋 I’m David, and I'm one of the creators of Ground Control ☕️ I love coffee, but I tend to lose track of how much I've consumed. On busy days, I find myself drinking cup after cup, and more often than not this excessive caffeine intake leads to negative side effects: jitteriness, lost focus, and, later, poor sleep. However, caffeine is an incredible substance when managed correctly. It can make you more focused, energized, and productive—until you overdo it, at which point all the benefits disappear, and the unwanted side effects kick in. That's the reason we decided to create Ground Control. With this tool, you simply log your caffeine intake, and Ground Control calculates the current amount in your system and gives you a forecast for your chosen bedtime. You can set custom limits for your total daily caffeine intake and for the amount of caffeine in your body at any given time. Additionally, you can set a cut-off time for your final cup of the day. Ground Control will then send you a gentle reminder 30 minutes before, just in case you'd like one last cup @steph_stardust, @peterbuch, @fredstrasser and I designed Ground Control to be a fun and engaging coffee tracking experience and we hope that it can help you to get your caffeine intake under control.
