Hey Product Hunt Folks ! 👋
We’re super excited to share GradeLab with you today.
Grading handwritten exams has always been a huge pain for teachers-slow, tiring, and sometimes unfair (especially with messy handwriting!). We built GradeLab to help fix that. With our AI, you just upload photos or scans of handwritten papers, set your grading rules, and get fast, consistent results-no matter how tricky the handwriting is. 📝🤖
Why we’re pumped about this:
Saves teachers hours every week ⏳
Gives students quicker, fairer feedback 📊
Handles even messy handwriting (yes, really!) ✍️
We’ve worked closely with educators and schools to make sure GradeLab actually solves real problems-not just adds more tech for the sake of it.
We’d love to hear what you think! If you have questions, ideas, or feedback, please drop them below. We’re here all day and excited to chat. 🙌
Thanks so much for checking us out and supporting our journey! 🚀
The GradeLab Team ✨
Hey PH fam!
After endless ☕️, late-night whiteboard sessions, and a mountain of scanned papers, we’re beyond excited to launch GradeLab!
Think: AI meets education — no more lugging stacks of answer sheets. With GradeLab, teachers just scan, upload, and boom — the AI handles the grading ✨✍️
Faster results. Fairer assessments. Happier educators. That’s our mission!
We’d love your thoughts, feedback, or just a virtual high-five

GradeLab is a game-changer for educators ✨. AI meets grading in the smartest way 🤖✏️ — saving time ⏰, simplifying paper generation 📄, and making student assessment more insightful and efficient 📊. Excited to see how this transforms classrooms 🚀!
I've been using GradeLab to speed up grading, and it's been solid. The AI feedback is decent, and it definitely saves me a few hours each week. Still tweaking settings, but so far, worth trying.
As someone who has seen firsthand how time-consuming and mentally draining manual grading can be (as my wife is an educator 😅), GradeLab feels like a breath of fresh air. Love that you're focusing not just on automation but also on fairness and real-world usability—especially with messy handwriting, which is a genuine challenge. Excited to see how this evolves and helps teachers focus more on teaching and less on admin work. Kudos to the team! 👏📚
GradeLab is gonna be a game-changer in my view. As someone who spends hours grading and giving feedback, this app will save so much time while improving the quality of assessments. The AI-generated rubrics and instant feedback features make the whole process faster, smarter, and more consistent. It will help focus more on student growth and less on repetitive admin work. Highly recommend for any educator looking to streamline grading and boost efficiency without compromising quality.
@jackson_wells Gradelab currently doesn’t support direct integration with LMS platforms like Canvas, Moodle, or Google Classroom — but it’s on our roadmap and will be live soon !
Some educators are concerned about relying too much on AI for grading how do you maintain transparency and give teachers control over the final results?
@leo_cobain When we grade the exam and display the results with each question graded we show an AI confidence score so that way we stay transparent to our users.
