When I moved to SF I was pumped to have a cheaper, more convenient alternative to renting a car from Avis or Hertz or whatever. First experience was awesome, but from there I couldn't predictably get an owner to approve my requests (close enough to make it sensible for me) and I haven't used the app since.
I'd love to know how this particular part of the experience plays out for others, or if the use case has shifted a bit? I saw it as a Zipcar alternative / far better than the traditional rental companies?
@dshan Hey David - thanks for trying Getaround and thanks for the feedback! We recently shifted to an entirely on-demand experience which means no more requests or waiting for approval from owners. This is awesome and glad to see the exotics have their own section now. I used GetAround last year when in SF to go up and down the California coast. The experience of renting the car and the pricing was amazing. I'm dying for it to come here to New York.

@ashmotamedi Hey Ashkan - good question! It depends on whether you go off of MSRP or current market value. @ashmotamedi @jessicascorpio Thats a fantastic price for the R8! I have seen Groupon deals where you pay that much only to take the car around a track for 3 laps, which lasts about just 5 minutes.
From the rims it looks to be the 4.2L V8. It'd be helpful to include that in the features description 👍
