Genius 2.0 — (Rap) Genius completely redesigned, now on Android

Congrats on the re-design Genius team! Interesting to see the design change after being similar for so long. Curious how you guys thought about it. Jordan Crook wrote an awesome piece about it here: http://techcrunch.com/2015/08/04...

The new landing page looks great! Is it just the mobile version that uses the white lyric/text pages too? I'm getting the old theme on lyric pages. I never realized the new logo was a negative space G before, when it was on its side. Happy to realize that you guys kept it 'G' 👊💂, maybe it was just Mahbod's commentary on Facebook on Facebook saying it looked middle eastern'esque, but always thought it was some kind of foreign language character/symbol.

Whether on mobile or the web, we want to make it easier than ever for users across the world to explore annotated lyrics and other texts and to contribute to the Genius knowledge project.
