Will Apple launch own chatbot in response of chatgpt, and bard?

I don't think they will do something like ChatGPT or Bard. Those products are heavily dependent on selling access to a service (e.g. API). That's just not Apples game. But i do hope that they get inspired and start improving their "Virtual Assistant" which, at the moment, i can only use for setting timers when i have to boil some eggs.

I don't doubt it, but they would probably do it in a very "Apple-y" way. Just like they took the idea of Metaverse and made Vision.

They are very well positioned to build an AGI. They have most of the data needed. So like with everything else they won't talk about it, but I guarantee you they have a whole department "on the edge" working on this. They were one of the pioneers in this with Siri. And they've announced collaboration with OpenAI, but knowing them this is only for testing the market and they have everything in the back already cooking.
