Why doesn't Product hunt have a feeds page like LinkedIn?

Just wondering why Product hunt doesn't have a feeds page where the community can post and create engagement. I understand that the product hunt has a different vision but wouldn't it be an exciting space for the platform's vibrant community? What do you think?

We've been experimenting with this on the 'activity' tab of the homepage. No direct user contributions yet but it pulls in interactions from people you follow around discussions/comments/launches/reviews

TBH I prefer the current structure. Different sections for Product of the Day leaderboards, discussions and other stuff. Its clean and easier to find the stuff that I need.
I actually like the separate areas - the beta App for the phone had it all mixed up and it was hard to upvote on the products with the discussions all messed in.
