PH is a place for massaging my curiosity and it mainly helps me in 3 ways- Discovery, Inspiration, Community Building.
1. We marketers and startup folks have a positive FOMO and hence checking out new products and staying in sync with the latest innovations is efficient on PH.
2. When you come across hundreds of unconventional products, you get tons of references, ideas, and inspirations for your own product UI/UX, features, and growth.
3. PH community is helpful and extremely passionate about the world of products. You can leverage this cohort by asking, helping, and suggesting in a candid manner, which will ultimately help you build a premium audience.

Hey Anna! Great question, I see Product Hunt as this amazing community of makers and specialists who are constantly coming together to help each other out and grow. Given that the community is filled with early adopters and people who are ready to try and solve problems, I look to Product Hunt as a resource.
I think that because it isn't a saturated slack channel or a Facebook group where posts are immediately forgotten it has a better shot of impacting people. There are stuck posts and regular contributors, there will be insightful AMAs or earnest questions, with people ready to share all their experiences. It's a beautiful place for people to find value and contribute value.
