What's the best app for freelancers?

I use Notion for my personal and business life, and that includes project management, CRM, and finance tracking. What are some other apps great for freelancers?

The best app for freelancers is probably Upwork. Upwork is a platform that connects freelancers with businesses that need their services. It offers a variety of tools to help freelancers find and manage projects, including job search, timesheets, invoicing, and more.

So glad to see Notion pop up in the conversation so many times. I think it's underappreciated but that's starting to change :) Freelancing or working as a solo agency is so simple these days: A couple of tools for staying organized (Notion, Trello, Google docs), a payment processor (Stripe, PayPal), a website, and then you're up and running! You can experiment all day but each freelancer will have their own way of doing things that usually gets figured out by trying a bunch of things over time.

Notion is just so easy to move notes around, and organise all the projects and frameworks needed as well as a continuous flow of ideas. Todoist helps get those projects done. Canva or Adobe can take care of all the design needs - plenty of free tools out there as well.

A website builder like webflow and tool like stripe to take in payments is a must.

I would say for early freelancers - Notion. Early-stage freelancers get gigs based a lot from their portfolios and Notion is incredibly easy to use to keep record of all your organized work.
