There's only so much time in a day, so it's important to maximize it via careful preparation and scheduling. In what way do you schedule your time? Is there a specific technique or tool you employ?
Oh man it is so crazy right now.
I wake up at 530 AM since my kid has to leave for school at 645 AM. Drop her, come back, have a cup of tea and get on with what's happening in the world, breakfast and then get to work at 9 ish. Since we are WFH it's really tough to draw boundaries.
Anyway, kiddo gets back from school at 1 PM so 1-3 is with her / for her. Lunch, gossip etc. Then if she has a class - Tennis / Dance take her to the class and take work calls from there. Usually i schedule calls so i can walk and talk. I have an awesome team so I am not tied up at the desk.
We're back by dinner time, and my wife also gets back from work by then. quick dinner and chat by 9 PM, and then it is back to work, a little reading, and wrap by midnight.
I don't like to be tied by schedules, so this suits me fine!
This year, I want to... The to-do lists I make always seem to get derailed, either because I spend more time than expected on some activities or because I am sidetracked by something else. Do you have any suggestions?
I dipped back into my analog bullet notebook after heavily relying on digital aids. Ten minutes of my day is spent making a list of things to accomplish, and another five are spent reviewing that list before bed. Every Sunday, I take 10 additional minutes to organize my week.
So long! So far, I'd say it's effective:)
My daily routine typically starts with checking emails and reviewing my todo list for the day. As a digital marketer, I spend a much of time creating and managing social media content, analyzing metrics and data, and collaborating with clients and team members. I often take breaks throughout the day to stretch, exercise, or go for a walk to stay energized and focused.
One personal detail about me is that I enjoy trying new recipes and experimenting with cooking in my free time.
Wake up around 7.

Deep work 1H30-3h depends on the day.

Work session 2.
The daily routine is work, sometimes rest from tasks. And finally, exercise for a good sleep. Work depends on external factors, because without regular rest, you can lose your hardening and performance deteriorate significantly.
Now I am totally focused on Dokably launch, which is tomorrow actually)) so the most daily routine went away besides one most important for me to support during the day: after wakeup I drink 2 glasses of hot water with lemon and then in an hour - green smoother with spinach and green fruits))
My daily routine typically involves tackling the most important tasks first, taking short breaks to recharge, and setting aside time for learning or personal development. Keeping a consistent sleep schedule and incorporating exercise also helps me stay productive and balanced.
My everyday tasks as a data scientist include monitoring model performance, cleaning and preparing data, and working on enhancing or creating new models. I also make an effort to find time to stay current on industry trends and the most recent research. perpetual learning
My daily routine is like a game of Tetris, fitting in tasks like puzzle pieces. I schedule with Google calendar and a trusty planner, while sipping on coffee and occasionally screaming into the void!
