What is the biggest contributor to your happiness as a developer?

For me it has to be having autonomy as an engineer. This includes: Choosing how my work day is structured. Being able to have a say on what the most important work is that needs to be done. Having an amount creative freedom in my solutions.

Nice to hear what's keeping you engaged Tim. For me it's definitely the freedom of building products according to my own vision. And sales are extremely important because I am a bootstrapping product maker. I live from the earnings generated by my products without a job or freelancing revenue
