What is the best day to launch on Product Hunt?

My friends often ask me to upvote their launches. But most of the time it happens on weekends. I try not to touch my phone or laptop on weekends. And miss their launches :(

 And then I thought: why is that? Maybe weekend launches provide more reach? Thats why I ask you: which day of the week is the most successful for launch? 

I vote for Tuesday😛

I’m new to this, but… it seems like people: - seeking the most community engagement shoot for Tues - Thur because they’re most competitive. - shoot for weekends to “win” since engagement is low but so is competition I imagine Mon & Friday fall in the middle somewhere. For us? We’re launching on Wednesday. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Tuesday - Thursday are extremely competitive. If you didn't build another "Tesla" -> no point to launch if you want to win Product of the Day. Weekends are great to get "# 1 Product of the Day" due to low competition. But in exchange, you'll get fewer visits to your website. Monday and Friday seem to be somewhere in the middle. My conclusion -> choose a day according to your needs 🤔

Statistically, it all depends on your goal. If you want to become № 1, then launch on the weekend. Then you will have less competition. We're planning to launch our https://www.producthunt.com/upco... on Thursday, so I'll be able to share the results after the launch!

From what I have been reading currently. About the best day, time, to launch a product or service: 1) Best day to launch is Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday order shown. 2) Best time to launch is 12:01 am on each of the above mentioned day mentioned above.

I saw loads of different guides about PH launches and they all suggest launching at the beginning of the week. But I guess now as much more people follow those and Mon-Wen become more competitive, others prefer weekends 🤔

I believe it's got to do a lot with your luck 😄. Last time we launched, our calculations said wednesday would be a good target but ended up being #2 with crazy competition

it all depends. whether you want to launch on the day of most traffic, high competition. good for products with an existing user base or launch on a slow traffic day, not as much competition. higher chances of getting a product of the day

Always launch during the midweek because most people are actively visiting social media. Launching on the weekend makes you compete with the people who already have audiences because they can launch any day of the week. I launched on Thursday and Wednesday, and the last launch went the best. But in the end, it's about the presentation of your idea, its potential, and your ability to move your audience to upvote.
