It takes a team to bring a successful product to market. Many factors influence the success or failure of new product development. What are some of the factors that we should consider before building a new product?

IMO, first of all you have to think of: - what problem does it solve? - to whom would it be useful - what is the main audience? - what is the roadmap? This would be a good start when planning something from scratch.
