@siddhartha_dange@soumya_chaturvedi Branded video content has obtained increased views on YouTube. When it comes to Twitter, people retweet a video 6 times more than any static content.
There are probably the odd cases where I would say videos due to the nature of the content, but almost always static content. I love to read, I often am working in a public place, and frankly, I just like that I can control my pace (ie. skim ahead) when reading, whereas with videos, it's hard to do that with the confidence you didn't skip something critical.
Depends on the purpose, but video usually. Especially if it involves a person speaking or explaining something ( e.g. course or tutorial), because I can hear and see them and take in way more information and get a better impression on whether or not this is a trustable source. Additionally video / audio content allows me to take in information while doing other tasks, such as driving or doing household chores.
I guess I would prefer static / text in situations where I would need to quote the source of a given content, such as research, blogging, academic writing etc.
In static content you can find whatever you are looking for very easily, in video content you don't know what's inside sometimes it's just waste of time.
Honestly, very difficult to say. At times prefer videos (specifically complex subjects or to get the summary) and at time static (to go deeper or find out what exactly I looking for).
