Within the workplace, I tend to gravitate towards engaging with my colleagues. Engaging in brief moments of lighthearted conversation often leads to shared laughter, a sense of refreshment, and renewed focus upon returning to tasks at hand. However, I find myself challenged with regards to maintaining my level of engagement and productivity while working from home, and am thus seeking new ways to counteract feelings of boredom and monotony.
I usually use the short breaks to take a screen break. Either I take a short walk, or read something without screen (Kindle paperwhite, newspaper, or a physical book) or make myself a cup of tea or have a short conversation with someone or listen to some music.
The screen break makes me feel less fatigued.
