Hey everyone! As I assume most the users here work in startups, I'd like to share my Favorite technique of controlling the long tail in google - I call this technique the "Endless Site Map". In a nutshell, its when you get to a point you generate an endless amount of pages, consist of different combinations users of the website can create. Imagine this, You have a website for recipes, and you let people search a recipe through its ingredients. for example: "Fish", "lemon", "tomato" Will give a list of recipes containing all of the above. This means there are countless amount of combinations, including weird ones, like "Pineapple, Cheese, Bread". Be sure your competition in these kind of long-tail keywords is 0, and you can just scoop all niche users with a simple mechanisms like this. *note: google limits the amount of pages it indexes for a sitemap, but the number is still pretty huge. -- Alright - Its your turn to shine.
