I'd love to see even more personalized recommendations based on user preferences and a streamlined interface for smoother navigation.
I know forums are great. But it will be nice if we are able to send direct chats to fellow makers and hunters

@benjil I don't think so, if messaging works the same way as LinkedIn or Instagram. You got to connect or follow to send a DM.

@benjil @omnathpp I think there are ways you can combat the annoyingness - make it like twitter/dating apps where both parties need to accept/follow - could also limit the amount of messages someone can send in a day to incentivize real connection + reduce the spam

I feel like there's a lot that could be added to the teaser page. Like sending updates as the product is being built, having a place to view all the followers (maybe I missed it), having a way to ask for feedback etc. Basically making of Product Hunt a place for the "pre launch" and not just for the launch day.
