Last month we finally launched Vouch (
https://vouchfor.com) on Product Hunt, and to say it was a huge success would be an understatement.
Off the back of going live, we enjoyed more than a 380% uplift in sign ups for the Platform and a 58% increase in website traffic, with the halo effect still in place weeks later.
We have consolidated all the key learnings on our blog (
https://vouchfor.com/blog/lesson...) however some of the high level learnings we took from the launch were:
Launch dates matter : Tuesdays & Wednesdays have become two of the most competitive days which offer the opportunity for greater exposure and awareness building, but also mean a lot more work to secure a spot in the top five.
Engage the community : The community on Product Hunt is incredibly positive. If you create and participate in discussions and share your feedback on other product launches, you can quickly build connections on the platform.
Hunters do help : It helps to have a great Product Hunt mentor, especially when first learning the ropes. We were lucky to have
@chrismessina help us with our first launch.
Prioritise your creative assets : You only have a small window to communicate what your product does to the wider PH community, so make sure your assets are clear and straight to the point.
