From witnessing the internet in a 2D world to living in the internet in the 3D world, we have come a long way. Metaverse has become an interesting virtual space for people to meet and interact, especially in light of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. A metaverse wedding recently made the headlines as being the first of its kind. Is metaverse becoming the new reality?

@andrewcanday After reading the article I can already see the need to regulate the metaverse and the things that happen there. It will be interesting to see when and how different countries come up with a regulation for the same!

@vidisha_joshi Absolutely, its too vast to be controlled. But at the same time there has to be some kind of boundary lines to protect the younger generation. that would really be a great boost to the technology and its growth.

After reading about the McD metaverse store I feel this would soon be the new world. Imagine stepping into stores to purchase things and food through the metaverse and then getting actual deliveries. Sounds like the new age world to me ;)

I believe Metaverse should be largely ignored. Being positive about it, It is a psychological trap. Being negative about it, it will be as useless as Second Life If anyone understands Spanish, watch this short film that describes what might happen if people embrace the Metaverse too much:

Metaverse will become the new reality for sure. But the kind of health issues i fore see right now are scary in a manner. I hope there is some kind of work around this issue.
