Lifetime deals! Do you have one for your product? What did you offer? Share here.
Starting this discussion to understand the intent behind early-stage founders giving lifetime deals for their products. Feel free to share your lifetime deal and why you offered it.
I will go first. You can respond by answering the same questions below.
π What is our product?
We are building NotionApps (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) - a tool to build apps and portals from Notion databases. We launched a few months back and we decided to give away a limited number of lifetime deals.
π What is the lifetime deal?
One can build unlimited apps on Notion and use them forever by paying just once (starting from $299). The lifetime access comes with the same monthly usage as our paid plans and access to all our upcoming features.

π Why did we offer a lifetime deal?
β’ We want to strengthen our relationships with early users and gather more feedback.
β’ We are offering a limited number of deals (only 25)
β’ Lifetime deals will allow us to grow without raising money from external investors immediately.
β’ We will use the money for product development and to add new features to the tool.
β’ This is like a crowd-funding campaign for our early users to participate and in return get lifetime access to the app builder.
π Who is this deal for?
β’ Notion consultants and template creators
β’ No-code agencies and consultants
β’ Small businesses and freelancers using Notion
β’ NGOs and educational institutions using Notion
