Let me start the discussion. When it comes to Network States, several dystopian scenarios from literature and cinema come to mind. However, when I apply a filter of reality to them, I envision Network States as follows: 1/ Decentralization is a given, of course. 2/ There's no hierarchy, but roles are defined. 3/ There are no direct instructions to citizens, but there is a development vector: a mission, vision, goals, strategy, and roadmap within a reasonably clear timeframe. And I think it's time for self-improving systems - ones that automatically adapt and change their rules, algorithms, and variables as decisions are made by citizens.
