Yes, PH should do something about this. From our side, we can just report that comment.
Like how scammers are usually not very good with grammar, those who use AI are often lazy. Makes it easy to identify, usually. They can only write stuff with AI that sounds genuine with very specific & custom prompts. And these prompts take time to write and thus is counterproductive. I side-eye any response that has an ending paragraph with "Overall,...", or uses words like "Additionally,..", "[ ] warriors" or "[ ] is not just a buzzword. It is a strategic tool...".
Nope, not just you...
It's also flooded with "gangs" that keep upvoting each other so there's less authenticity and truly organic discovering than it used to be
@michael_pell Yeh people are definitely trying to game the system, but what's the point, it doesn't lead to success, sure you might become product of the day but then have nothing to show off the back of it.
@michael_pell I noticed that one of our competitive brands used fake accounts to get upvotes. What's the value of creating a valuable product if anyone can be Product of the Day.
I have recently started being active on PH after a long time and I am telling you, it seem like an AI mess all over the site. This is a stark change in the community I can see in just 6 months, since we last launched.
You can use this as a counter filter.
If you want to reflect how this will affect the internet - Will AI Be the End of Workers highlights a point on what you're observing. I make a key prediction that may help you strategize in the future regarding AI.
Definitely not just you.. AI generated responses for AI tools of not great quality... unfortunately I've noticed the decline in quality of products launched in the last 6 months..
Yeah, it feels like PH is becoming the Silicon Valley of AI responses! Maybe soon we'll have AI bots having coffee breaks and discussing code over lattes. ๐
