Is Canva responsible for the death of PowerPoint?

My team and I use Canva for any sort of presentations or pitch decks, been using it from university. Do people not use PowerPoint anymore? Do you all use Canva now to design slides and decks?

Let's just say, in my 3.5 years in university, my team and I used powerpoint just once. Every other time we all used canva. I have rarely seen any of my peers use powerpoint
